Each user can purchase a Meridian from our online store or a local retailer. A Meridian is a medallion you can wear that does several things. Each Meridian has a phrase, and a unique serial number that allows users to track its progress around world as it is traded. Also, each purchase contributes to a fund for charity! Each Meridian is unique, but they all encourage sharing, and making new connections...
Trade
Once you seed your Meridian and start its legacy, look for other people wearing them. Strike up a conversation, share an experience, an idea, or just shake hands. Register your trade and repeat the process. Our goal is to enrich the world by connecting people in a fun way. Maybe one day these connections will lead to Meridians on all seven continents or even in space! We like to think people can share anywhere.
Tell A Story
Each Meridian has a legacy. This legacy is a record of all the Check-Ins, and Trades a Meridian goes through during its life. Users can vote each event up or down to increase its significance and create a clean list of awesome events each Meridian has been a part of.
Do Good
Every time you make a purchase, 10% of the total goes to charity. Half of that percentage will go into the Impact fund, while the other half goes into the Relief fund. Both funds will have their recipient voted on by the community. The Relief fund is for emergencies, natural disasters, and other non-profits who need aid sooner rather than later and will be donated bi-weekly. The Impact fund will be larger and is voted on and donated quarterly to charities with the goal of doing more at once. Our network was made to do good!
